What is werewolf or vampire skyrim?

Werewolves and vampires are both playable races in the game Skyrim, but they function quite differently. Here are some brief descriptions of each:

Werewolf:

  • Werewolves can be obtained by completing a questline for the Companions in Whiterun, where you will be given the option to become a werewolf.
  • Once transformed into a werewolf, your character will gain increased physical abilities, including increased speed, strength, and resistance to damage.
  • However, there are downsides to being a werewolf: you cannot interact with objects or items in your werewolf form, you cannot use magic, and you cannot gain any experience points while in werewolf form.
  • Additionally, being a werewolf will cause some NPCs to react negatively to you, and some quests may not be available to you as a werewolf.
  • To transform back into your human form, you must wait until the transformation wears off (which takes a certain amount of time), or you can choose to manually end the transformation early (which will cause you to lose a significant amount of health).

Vampire:

  • Vampires can be obtained by contracting vampirism from a vampire NPC (usually through combat or by being bitten while sleeping).
  • Once transformed into a vampire, your character will gain increased vampiric abilities, such as the ability to drain the life force of enemies or turn invisible.
  • However, there are also downsides to being a vampire: you are weakened by sunlight, you must feed on human blood regularly to avoid becoming weaker, and your appearance will become more monstrous as you progress through the stages of vampirism.
  • Additionally, being a vampire will cause most NPCs to react negatively to you, which can make it difficult to interact with or complete quests.
  • To cure vampirism, you must complete a questline for the Dawnguard faction or seek out a cure from a specific NPC.
